This game is what experts call a must not lose game.
It's definitely a game I'm going to be watching with an eye toward "is this actually a good team or were we deceived by early returns?"
First 5 games of the season:
2-0-3 in regulation (won all the OT/SOs)
Next 10 games:
4-5-1 in regulation (lost the OT)
That's a combined 6-5-4, which is about as average as a team can be. It's been almost a month since we beat a team currently top-3 in its division, and all 5 of those regulation losses (plus an OT loss) are to teams outside the playoff bracket. This is another game against a team outside the playoff bracket. Losing tonight would be a pretty painful way to achieve true .500
****ing win this game.
