PP's are even... how about asking torts to teach you guys how to play on the man advantage?

Powerplays being even is not a measure of consistency of refs calls. It's just a statement that the powerplays have indeed, been even. Call on Asham/non-call on Stralman were brutal. Likewise the call on Beagle was bad as well.

I jump through hoops, all over the country to watch this team.

And I get tired of watching Torts' sloppy mess of a team

People are jumping on nash because it was the last thing that happened in the 2nd period and he looked a little lost with the puck. Perfect example of frustrated fans.
Yup, that's the Rangers for you. If you've been a fan of this team long enough you realize that they'll find new ways to piss you off. I guess using Nash to project that anger is the new "cool" thing to do since Boyle is out. :sarcasm:

hes been average. he certainly hasn't imposed himself on this game (yet)
I'm not sure what everyone is expecting from him. It's been two periods. He hasn't had any noticeable mistakes and he's taken five shots (several from high quality areas).

The criticism is undeserved at the moment. But fans will find anybody to take out their frustration on; I'm not in the least surprised.

Because he hasn't been good?
in the limited time he got he was fine. I think he hesitated after he stole the puck away in the 1st period but then he hd anothher good chance. There has been a lot of PP so he hasnt gotten a lot of shifts. I dont think even torts is blaming him

Come on, guys. You make this GDT unbearable to read or post in.

Write something constructive. It's fine to be emotional, but this isn't a dumping ground for "season's over lol" or "fire Torts".

It does kinda bring out the hostilities in the posters on here, don't it??

I am the first to admit that the 3rd goal is on Hank but to blame Hank for Mojos breakaway goal is just baffling :help:

Rangers are going to get to within one, then they will play great towards the end while trying to tie it only to give up an EN. And we will all say too little too late they should have played like that the whole time.

seen it happen way too much

Different story. Same ending. Always ends painful.

Rangers had a 5 on 3 for an extended period of time and looked like crap. How is it with a guy like Nash and Richards you guys look utterly atrocious on the PP?

If that was true you'd know that you can count the times the Rangers came back to win a game after being down two goals on 1 hand.

You be optimistic. I'll be realistic.

Losers whine about the officiating.

Game 5 vs. the Senators last year the Rangers were down 2-0 going into the third period.

Rangers won 3-2. In the playoffs.

Keep diggin' boys....

Oh, I'm sorry. But so far I have been very disappointed in Nash's game so far. He's not that superior dominator that everyone made him to be.

I guess you are very satisfied with the way he is playing?

Nash is a scorer who hasnt scored yet, yea sure that's disappointing but to make him out to be the goat of the game purely based on the fact that he hasnt scored is ridiculous, hes had 5 shots all of which were decent chances, and the mention him as some sort of a buyout candidate is absurb, did you watch this team all year?

However, everyone is free to bash the franchise's best player, and troll them incessantly, even though he kept them in the game for the entire 1st period!

LETS GO RANGERS.

Nowhere did I say we are good on powerplays. I just stated that your statement of "PP's are even" does not mean the refs have called the game well.

Nash needs a big 3rd period and Hank needs to be a wall. And enough with the penalties!

They can do this.

No. That's not true. Don't bother with giving me links to the game stats. It's just not true.

Our coach doesn't practice the powerplay, and plays the wrong guys (girardi) on the point
