I think Torts is a great coach, just not in New York.

I think we starting to see what his short comings are as a coach. He doesn't know how to get this team to execute a proper transition.

A perfect example is Del Z is waiting behind the net for people to get set. The breakout scheme is our forwards past the red line waiting for a puck.

Del Z makes the long pass, which the forward recieves, has trouble with, and then gets neutralized by a Devil defender.

The puck then slides weakly into the devils zone, so that we can't sustain a forecheck. Our forwards have almost no time to pursue the puck.

The Devil grab the puck and easily bring it up ice to penetrate our zone.

Torts refuses to work a system where the team carries the puck as a five man unit in the pocket.
