If NYR wanted Hague they would make a different offer or look into free agency. Hague isn't going to make or break this current season right now. Maybe if they pick it up and get to deadline in a decent spot.

This trade seems focused around pushing Zibanejad to the wing. I'm not sure that really solves our issue. Vegas power play is doing pretty good without getting Kreider for their net front piece.

I don't think players worry too much about that.

Like most things in life, they probably think it only happens to other people.

It’s not a problem for NYC plus It’s a business, regular folks have to transfer all the time. The players make enough money to adjust. Their union can work to close that loophole next CBA. NMCs, union protection, millions in salary - I’m trying but the sympathy feeling just ain’t coming.
