Now he is playing up to his potential. I can’t stand that the Rangers got him for such a low cost . And I am pissed off at people who were saying “ oh he is going to decline soon and his contract isn’t great bla bla bla , it’s ok , the Rangers have an aging core “. Uummm … they added a 100 point C that plays with an edge and can play a complete game … meanwhile my Devils continue to suck and do nothing . Good on the Rangers and Canes for having the courage to add to their teams. Hopefully Fitz pulls his head out of his ass before it’s too late .

It's kind of weird as a Rangers fan because it feels like a lifetime ago Miller was on the Rangers and it was not this Miller. He was a player that flashed and showed promise and all but I never felt he all that much better than Dubinsky and Hayes. Such a weird career trajectory.

I'm surprised more contending teams (ala Devils) didn't step up to get him, they could've matched the offer or better easily.

He was always this good. But luckily for the Rangers they seemed to be the only team when it came time to make the move.

This is the problem with Miller. When he's motivated, he's an absolute world beater that can win you a game on his own. But when he isn't, the lack of effort is astonishing.

So JT was the best player in both NYR games since the trade, Chytil was the best player for either team in his Canuck debut. M.Petey was solid and DOC was useful.

Chytil is great. He skates like the wind and carries the puck up ice really well, but he will never ever ever play physical and he lacks the finishing touch a little bit. I hope he stays healthy and thrives, same as Kakko.
