GDT: NYR @ PIT, Part 2

We wasted half a season playing Gaborik on LW. He clearly can't adjust and has looked much better on RW this game even if he hasn't scored.

He better stay on RW for the rest of the season. We've wasted one of our top assets all season.

Also, Put Nash on RW and move Callahan to the 3rd line RW.

Like I said earlier, I still think we finish in playoff position. We're just in a really bad slump. We may need to make a couple of personnel changes to get there, but we'll get there.

Im acatually an optimistic fan BUT i think a change will help thsi team. Many times in hockey a coaching change has helped in season
 
Well, I'm not over surprised, though still somewhat ashamed. Either way, no need to fly off the handle or jump off the ledge.

But I will say this. Addition can happen through subtraction. I honestly thought we played better without Richards in the lineup because Torts couldn't waste 20 minutes of ice time on his lethargic rear and players didn't defer to him as the defacto playmaker when he was on the ice/PP. I think amnestying Richards could make this team a little better, without even doing anything else. Yes, our center depth certainly takes a hit, but we were honestly BETTER when he was out. It's less of a distraction and it sends a message that there are no free rides. I'd be happier watching the team lose with a "depleted" roster (as in lacking center depth) than watching Richards trail stink all over the ice with him each night. Just get him out of here.
 
Time to fire Torts and Sullivan.The team just isnt responding to him anymore.They need a change and badly,the dump and chase doesnt work anymore.

This team is so bland right now

i dont even understand that excuse anyway. our best player was someone who wasn't even on the team last year. i guess we stink because powe and halpern are having trouble learning the system.
 
Great fight for playoff spot rangers. Time to start thinking about next season. This team is done.
 
2 30-40 goal wingers, a 90 point center, 2 50 point 2nd liners, Ryan Callahan, and no goal scoring. this is the system's fault. fire the coach

They don't, and that is the most heartbreaking part. We'd all be (a little) less upset if they played their ***** off and still lost.

But they have checked out emotionally. It's clear from their body language.
 
It looks like every line is Crosby-Crosby-Crosby. Getting dominated in our own zone by Joe friggin Vitale. Hilarious.
