no wait, that's your signature, not mine.

Easy fellas !

i do wonder Bern have you ever seen one of your suggestions come through ?
I used to make bad proposals then I’d like to think I became more realistic

I’m just trying to go off like past history. Like while it’s happened very few playoff teams sell a ufa. That’s where own rental comes from

I would do this deal just to ensure Tierney is no longer on the Ottawa roster ever again

No interest in trading Connor Brown for anything less than a good young player coming back. Lafrenniere brings more promise than actual production, and could end up being a bust.

Point being, no way Ottawa considers a trade like the one OP proposed. I am sure Ottawa gets better value elsewhere, as I don't see the Rangers trading him unless they know Laf is not going to be the player he was hyped to be when he was picked #1 overall in 2020 draft.

Ottawa needs and benefits more with CBrown in the line-up as they are gearing towards being a contender in the next couple of years. If they sell him, it will be for good younger player worth trading for. Not the types being offered here.

Laf could end up being a bust a la Patrick Stefan/Alexandre Daigle, or could become a top-6 contributor. He is no longer the slam dunk surefire 1st line prospect he was touted to be pre-draft. It's uncertain territory. Connor Brown is likely underrated for those who don't follow Sens hockey.

Would you trade Zach Hyman for what the OP offered? Do the Rangers trade Laf for someone like Zach Hyman? A Hyman
trade benefits NYR now as a contender.

Connor comes in much cheaper on the cap for another 1.5 years.
Just stop. Say no to the offer and move on.
