Point to me where I ever claimed he has. Who’s to say he wouldn’t have already if not hamstrung from the buyouts.

All I’m saying is that I could see it happen now for multiple reasons. First ever cap flexibility during his tenure, all the smoke on Rossi this season, and the clock really starts ticking for BG this off season.

Again, not a fan of trading Rossi for 30+ yr old players, but I’m trying to identify ones that wouldn’t hurt so bad. Panarin has 4-5 really good years left in the nhl I’d guess, to me that might be worth Rossi.
