With Kaprizov also getting a big number, Wild will be paying wingers in their 30's huge $$ that have never won anything.
MN needs to get younger... any return for Rossi has to be for someone of a similar age. Panarin, as good as he is, is 10 years older, which is a lifetime in hockey.
While Rossi would be a downgrade talent wise for NYR, he would be a nice piece for a rebuild, but i don't see Spurgeon being something they need. If Spurgeon goes anywhere(no smoke on that, so far), you would think that it would be to a Cup contender like Edmonton who could really use a RHD.
