His PPGA/60 this past month was 3.31. That is a very good number. 5 is a very good number. 8 is probably more average. Defense last month has been decent. He's at least over the 50 mark in them fancy stats in that time frame. Hitting have never been his strong suit but 6 hits in the past month too compared to 18 hits in Oct through end of Jan. That's 4.5 hits per month to a big 6 hits per month of a 33.33% increase. JTM is rubbing off on him.IF he waives, yes
some retention dep on return
offense + skating have returned, fully
def + physical play remains subpar
NYR would trade him for peanuts if they could. But they can’t. He’s a capdump! Both teams have more reasons to say no than to say yes.
Good.Zibs says no
If he wants to win than what the hell is he playing for the Rangers.2C under 6mm for a 2nd round pick and flaming trash? standard issue habs fan proposal?
add guhle to the return and it actually gets interesting. zib would never waive to play for montreal though. at this point in his career he wants to win not babysit
Gorton isnt the GMJeff Gorton's best trade in New York was the Zibanejad trade. He has had interest in re-acquiring some of his former Rangers players. Arpon Basu reported a few months ago that the Habs talked to the Rangers about Kakko last summer. The Borgen trade has worked out very well for the Rangers. Montreal was interested in Trouba who did not want to play in Canada again. Mika has a fulll NMC. I am not sure if he wants to play in Canada again.
