I won't say I'd be comfortable as a fan of any team relying on Domingue to be a 50-60 game starter, but that poster was Donald Duck laughing at what amounts to an AHL split-time/backup option for league minimum (as a Devils fan, which is surely just their poor attempt at trolling).

the donald duck poster is not the goalie 'expert'.
just background info, why devils think so poorly of him. the devils also had domingue on their roster, so they have some first hand experience with him.
Apologies misunderstood your post. Yes, Domingue isn't exactly a great goalie. But the overreaction by several to what amounts to a 3rd or 4th goalie option is a bit much. This guy is unlikely to see much, if any, NHL playing time this year or next, so a reaction of that strength seems a bit unwarranted. It's like if I got raving mad at the Predators just signing McKeon. It actually doesn't matter - has no impact on the NHL level whatsoever.
