I hope Drury didn't just destroy the locker room by trading one of the hardest working and well respected players remaining.
lol. what exactly is the locker room strength and stability that deserved to be protected? Did you miss that the ECF/PT team from last year completely shat itself after coming back this summer?

This move f***s up the existing locker room dynamic? Good.

Pouring one out for Lindgren and Jimmy. Especially in Lindgren's case, it's not his fault we hire the worst coaches that insist on playing him. You don't get bloody every night by not trying at least. Wish them both well.

I don’t know why people are calling us sellers.

We traded a pending UFA with some of the worst metrics in the league and got value.

We are better today. I don’t see that as selling but trying to make the team better. We can still go both ways though. We’ll see what else Drury has in store. IMO we’re buying.

Agree, smells of buyer IMO. Drury was already planning on moving on from Lindgren. Addition by subtraction, not a sell off.

Hey Dru, Tell me you finally understand your team sucks without telling me

I like the concept of the deal and I like the actual deal. A rarity.

Finally we move on from the traffic cone. He's been legit awful. Always appreciated veseys efforts with marginal talent.

The return is both adequate and an acknowledgement. Approve.

Ryan Lindgren was never a star, but he was my favorite Ranger of this iteration. I had no problem acknowledging his break down, and I know why everyone wanted him gone at the end, but he deserves nothing but praise in my book. We complain about guys like Laf or whomever having questionable commitment to fitness or improving and Lindgren with 1/6 the hype or talent (or earnings) gave us every ounce he had.

Realizing I’m almost positive I made the exact same post about Girardi when his time here ended too. Guess I’ve got a type. Or just like seeing dudes bleed for their team.
No one can question Ryan’s effort at any point, period. He was also very fine for what he’d brought through 22-23 season and then the wheels just fell off completely (surprisingly how early relative to norm it started for him).

Wishing nothing but the best to both him and Vesey and will be rooting for success the rest of their careers.
