McIlrath
For
Kukan
Reasoning: McIlrath is Tort's pick. The Rangers during that draft were 1.5 years into Torts reign in NY. He was drafted as the ideal type of player that fits the Torts system.
The Rangers system now is not a fit for a player like McIlrath, who when slotted next to a lefty that can skate and move the puck, lends himself to a solid pairing.
Kukan is a guy with a lot of European experience, and looked good to me in his NHL games. He's a Ekholm/Hjarlmarson type of player except not as good athletically. A good 3rd pair option who can step in right away.
