Don't see how people can even entertain the idea of trading Marc Staal with how erratically some of the other defensemen play. Just because Moore is a significant improvement over players like Gilroy, Hamrlik and Bickel doesn't mean the Rangers can suddenly afford to trade one of their top defenders.

And, like this game shows, when Lundqvist isn't playing his usual stellar game, the frequent defensive lapses are much more harmful.
