This team looks very much like a team trying to figure out how to play hockey. Which is fine, until you realize they spent the few seasons attempting to do just that. They are looking far off from where you would expect a team that showed improvements the two past seasons to look.

I don’t care about the loss, I care about how they are playing. This won’t be the last time we see a team make Buffalo beat them via congested system and bring them to the deep end with them. They showed no life or effectiveness for 75% of the game. Lots of issues that don’t appear to be addressed.
