Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. My theory was just more to make it more fun and also I think Vesey would fit in great on the ducks bottom 6 with Lundestrom

I think this actually would work out for both players. More cushion behind vets for z and more opportunity to shine for laf.

I'm not thinking about draft position. I'm thinking one guy is big, strong, healthy and producing and the other guy is slight, often injured, and not producing.

Even this year, their ES production is about the same. Plus if you look at Zegras at C as opposed to LW, his production is actually higher, just for some reason Cronin keeps playing him at LW where his production nosedives. I'd also say Zegras is improved defensively to the point of being pretty competent, whereas Laf still kinda sucks at it. I don't care that Laf's bigger ... he doesn't play like it, and he's still slow of foot and of brain.
With Zegras there's also not the looming shadow of a 7 year, 7.45m AAV extension kicking in like there is for Lafreniere. If Zegras doesn't pan out, next year he's RFA and you can deal him. If Laf doesn't pan out, that extension is totally radioactive.

Which is also the guy who’s played in over 100 more games than Zegras yet only been able to put up 10 more points than him.
The more relevant details is how much production in the one or two most recent seasons.
Zegras is horrendous at faceoffs. No physicality aside from his suspension, first line ATOI... Zero production.
Add to Zegras. Overrated.
