What was the right contract?

He had 6 shots (plus 2 blocked and 2 missed). The other 11 forwards combined for 20 (Matty next with 4). Third on the team in shots (right behind the top two Cs) for the series.

And you didn’t like those two great passes for goals?
No, if you look before, I called Nylander one of hte most underrated passers in the game.

My problem is his game this playoffs has been janky. Partially it's Holmberg and Berube, but where's the elite skating explosiveness?

Idk, maybe I'm seeing things, but Willy isn't dominating play like I want him too. He was the best player on the ice game 6 and 7, when Pasta was playing last series.

Perhaps elsewhere, but all you said in this thread was "but SHOOT THE PUCK" which is what I responded to.

He's been more physical in this series, and except for one dumb penalty has been one of our best players.

Willy is doing well but he clearly has an injury slowing him down

Willy made a shitty line change on the Sens third goal, but once again like he too often is he's the only one of the Big Three to really produce in these high-leverage games. Matthews did shit f***ing all because he can't shoot anymore and Marner got an assist on a goal that was 90% Knies (and even then I still can't tell if it was him or the Sen he was battling with that knocked the puck back).

Willy has had some hustle this series, like when he moved to avoid the off-side in Game 3 that led to the faceoff for Benoits game winner. I just wish it was more often. And like I said he's the only one of the original big three that produced in this game. Would be nice if M&M showed up on Tuesday.

He bumped his man and got off the ice early enough that the replacement, Patches, was involved in the play and was credited with a block. He was on the bench for 6 seconds. Not sure what was 'shitty' about it.

Other than that, I agree.
