I don’t think there’s a point in trading for Pageau to play on the fourth line. I think giroux is the only guy better in the dot this year and he had 42 points. Ideal third liner. Isles are gonna promote Ritchie and that’s a third line role for next year so that’s the basis of trading him so it’s not a dump.

From an Islanders perspective we need a center to replace Nelson, as for Ottawa not sure where they are on wanting to deal with Pinto and they might prefer the draft Capital
