I don't think Mika is on a full on decline yet, and would give us two very solid Cs in the top 6. Might thrive away from MSG, similar to what teams are expecting to happen with Marner. He would be our 2C, which could also prove beneficial for him.

As far Pulock you're right about him being a good partner for Schaefer, but I don't mind Schaefer partnered with Mayfield who will actually protect the kid. Pageau is not part of our future plans so I don't consider him important here.

I don’t want Mayfield on the same team with Schaefer, forget having Schaefer playing with him. What’s Mayfield going to teach him? How to panic and ice the puck? Take a stupid penalty?
