Marner wants 13 Mil - perfect chance for him to show why he’s worth it. No fancy shit, play gritty and get things done

Bérubé making ingame adjustments, maybe trying to take advantage of some chemistry between guys
For sure but does this game warrant it ? Your top line looked shaky you flipped the wingers that should be all you don’t need to change the red hot 3rd line to make a top line you like unless that was always the plan cause the left wing switch didn’t seem warranted

What's the drama with Peterson and Miller?
If I had to guess I would say it is down to the fact Pettersson was moping and pouting about the fact he wasn't extended , got his supersized deal and then continued to play like garbage. A robot with no extra gear. Miller is heart and soul and does not make Petey money so I assume he gives it to Petterson and any of the other passengers. Miller is probably pretty high maintenance and not loved by all players in the room.

Yeah no reason to break up that line. It seems he’s trying to find the right combo for Mitch tonight

When fo these back to back and 4 in 6 's end? This team seems to get more than any other in the league. This has happened a couple of years now.

Luckily his management had to deal with a hard nose negotiator like Lou, who knows what it could have been if it was someone else
Interesting what Roy said about him.

“It’s sad, but right now, there’s guys playing better than him,” Roy said following Monday’s practice. “They’re probably not as talented as he is, but they’re playing better than he is.

“When you want to win, you go with the guys you know are gonna play inside. Not on the outside. And we need to find a way to have Pierre doing this on a consistent basis. That’s all. If he’s doing it, he’s a very good hockey player.

It’s weird that you need to find the right players for a guy making $11 mil, should be the other way around
Patches JT Marner is what I would have started with. They moved Patches now but why? Nylander resolved Knies and Kampf and L3 was doing OK.

It's just weird. And Marner must have turned over the puck 6 tines tonight on behind the back passes.

Engvall is what he is, and it's not a useful NHL player on a playoff team. He will be bought out and end up in Europe within a year or two.
