Those net front cross checks happen dozens of times per game. If you can't take one of those, then you shouldn't be out there.

At this point it makes the most sense moving Kampf up and not disrupting the other lines. Mitch should be able to carry him and he can win draws. Definitely underlines the number 1 need for this team in another top 6 center though. We are one Tavares injury away from being decimated down the middle.

I think Kampf up to the top line at center is the best choice. Our 2nd and 3rd lines are playing well enough that they can likely cover for not having a true 1st line. I certainly wouldn't entertain breaking those lines up just yet.

Yea if Matthews cannot take one of those shots I don't like his chances of getting healthy this year. Like ya, it would hurt, but they happen every game multiple times a game. Seems as though it must be his back that is not 100%.
