Big win for Boqvist. He's gonna play with Pelech who has somehow recovered his 2020-2021 game. (He must feel good, which is something he hasn't really felt since the 2021 playoffs.) Really a good scenario for him.

The big loser in this pickup is Perunovich who will play next to the ponderous Scotty "3 Mississippi" Mayfield. (Don't get me wrong, Mayfield has his virtues, but he takes forever figuring out what to do with the puck.)

I wonder if someone will make him look good enough that either Colorado or St Louis want him. He can play in front of his old college crowd or in his hometown for the remainder of that deal as a result.
