The credit goes to Louis Lamoriello for gifting him an extra 500 games than what he should have playedDeserves a lot of credit for forging out a 955-game career.

Of course not, they know what he brings.PTO. So they unsure what he brings to the table ?
LOL okay. The credit goes to Louis Lamoriello for gifting him an extra 500 games than what he should have played
Sorokin looks to be in bad condition
All in the pre season? Who the hell are the islanders playing, the flyers from the 70s?Say Engvall gets a broken ankle and Whalstrom breaks his shoulder for the 4th time, he'd be in.
For anyone reading through, that's right...
The Islanders sign 30 year old, 11 year, 169 GP NHL journeyman goaltender to a PTO and invited him to their rookie camp
Wahlstrom might not even make it out of camp. Look at the cap situation. They’re over by about $900k.Of course not, they know what he brings.
There's a 23 man roster issue and injury issue. Martin ended playoffs hurt, let's see what he has.
I'd bet if we go through training camp healthy, he sticks around and practices but doesn't sign until there are more injuries. Say Engvall gets a broken ankle and Whalstrom breaks his shoulder for the 4th time, he'd be in.

Happens. All in the pre season? Who the hell are the islanders playing, the flyers from the 70s?
LmaoExhibit A why the isles stink
Happens.
I’d bet he hangs around but it’s good to have him around if that’s the plan
Lmao
Yes the PTOs are why
The PTO is awkward for a guy who has played most of his career with the Isles. Is this awkward? It feels awkward.

I’m a little shocked by that, how on earth are they over the cap? There’s maybe 3 guys on that roster that would be top line/top pair/starting G on most playoff teams, where did the money go?
It’s not by much but math adds up. There’s a lot of money tied up on the blue line.I’m a little shocked by that, how on earth are they over the cap? There’s maybe 3 guys on that roster that would be top line/top pair/starting G on most playoff teams, where did the money go?
Ya the previous 13 years playing there is clearly too small of sample. You’d think at this point you’d just either give him a contract or not. If he’s trying to earn a spot, you’d be better off going elsewhere
