He's big but not a good fighter. In terms of ability and not size, he's a middleweight.
Still bigger than most middle weights. People brag like Rempe was a good fighter but he caught more punches with his face then he actually threw.

Olivier fed him that's for sure.

Mayfield can go with Hathaway for example but would get fed by Deslaurieus.

All in all, we have a big team, guys can handle themselves. But it would be nice (in my opinion) to have another guy that can drop them 5-7 times a year. Maybe a year from now we can pick up Tanner Jeannot for example.

To be fair Deslauriers is probably one of, if not the best fighter in the league, Mayfield is not. He'll protect his teammates and stand in there like Anders Lee but is not out there to just throw punches. As much as lurch ran around trying to play Ogie Ogilthorpe last year, the enforcer as a sole role on a team is gone. He'll fade away when guys don't bother with his stupidity or someone takes him out with a fun hip check (hopefully Romanov).
