Mods, can we have one thread for all the NYI articles? Maybe sticky this thread?

WINNIPEG, Manitoba -- It was fast, it was loud and it was nasty.

And it was another win for the Islanders, who are close enough to taste their first playoff berth in six years. Not the prettiest one they've had on their 11-1-2 run, but the 5-4 shootout win over the Jets on Saturday in a packed MTS Centre was another step toward the postseason.

WINNIPEG, Manitoba -- Brian Strait spent a long eight weeks waiting to get back into the Isles lineup. He got his chance Saturday, his first game since he broke his ankle Feb. 19 against the Flyers.

Out of respect for the mods...Do I understand correctly that we are now supposed to put ALL articles about the NYI in this thread? If so I don't think that's a good idea. One topic alone could take up 100's of posts.

No matter what people would be replying scattershot to articles with each post possibly being about a different topic. I hope I'm missing something and this is not the case.

Crew,

It may be best to separate the news article into separate threads this way each one has its own discussion. Otherwise the conversation is going to get lost or cluttered.
