There is some sort of weird psychological thing that groups of humans have evolved to need a collective boogeyman. HFJets would have thrived in Salem in the 1600s

Exactly. A 7% delta from best dman to worst dman in a lineup is probably pretty standard
Note: Ceci leads all Dallas D men in icetime at 5v5 this season (due to injuries)
Oh damn. Stanley PB'd for the first time all year. Almost couldn't beleive it.
Looks to be an entirely new look third pair and 4th line stays the same.

We still need to keep the pedal down and be first in the division, but now is the time to try a few things IMO. We've seen Barron at C, and now a pairing of Fleury and Schenn. Time to see how some different things look.
Excited to see what Fleury can do with Schenn. He was buried when he had to play with Pionk against tough competition, but has been decent on the bottom pair.
It could be a great combo with Fleurys skating ability

So if I was to believe these stats Miller is the second best D man on the Jets ... not.
To me these stats mean nothing because 3rd pairing plays less minutes and usually its against the opponents bottom 6.
Everybody has a bad game no big deal but you have to follow it up with good games. Stanley had 2 terrible games in a row.
Play Stanley against the crappy team but against good teams he is exposed.
Jets need 1st place to have a better path in the playoffs and with the Stars and now the Avs closing in ... I don't expect Stanley to be playing that much especially against the top teams.
I like that Arniel is taking into account mobility and retrieval for the pairing. Hard to have two below average skaters manage a forecheck well.

Looks like maybe Arniel was only keeping Stanley in the line up for his size and "grit" (although all things considered, he's more of a 400 grit type than a 100 grit). Schenn replaces that on the right side, so Fleury gets a look on the left
We should start a pool to see who the next whipping boy should be in case Stan is out of the lineup. I have a feeling people might sour on Schenn quickly as @Jet mentioned

I'm curious to see how the bottom pairing fares tonight. Schenn joins the illustrious list of D men who gave worn #5 as a Jet (Stuart and Kulikov for sure, not sure who else)
