A big reason they're so good is because the stakes are so high. You don't get title matches and takeovers every month.

Chris Benoit chants? God dammit, Toronto.

I don't think even MCG and his negative nancys can find a problem with tonight's show. I may not even watch SS. That was exactly the taste of wrestling I needed.

When I watch I'll probably ***** about how TM61 is bland and vanilla as ****. ;)

I'm probably going to watch during the week and skip that tournament final match so I shouldn't have too many complaints. My expectations weren't high for any match aside from the tag titles anymore.

True. It makes their belts feel more important, and they do a great job of making their stars look like superstars. Nakamura looked like the biggest star in Brooklyn even compared to the Summerslam roster.

Still they are also amazing because the in ring action is also on another level. The bookers and road agents aren't handcuffed by Vince and Dunn's cookie cutter style, and these guys blow the roof off every chance they get.

Also screw the Young Bucks. Revival are the greatest tag team in the world.

Is this like their 4th MOTYC match in the same amount of Takeovers?

This is the match of the year. **** everything else. This is 5 stars.

The tourney final match and women's match, IMO, were skippable. But at the same time, for "filler" it was really watchable and enjoyable. I never once felt it wasn't passable for a big event.

Opener, Tag Titles, and NXT title matches are all must-see. The tag/nxt championship matches are absolute must sees for wrestling fans. For a 2.5 hour event to have 2 absolute must-see matches... it's pretty darn good.

There are very few matches that had me inching up to the edge of my seat at some of the near-falls and sequences. The #1 that stands out is HBK/Taker WM 25. That also is my favorite match of all time. The stakes couldn't have been higher. A few others - TLC 2, KO/Cena, and Punk/Cena MITB. Just a few matches there.

This had me inching forward every minute. I was blown away. Lived up to it's hype and surpassed it. So many great sequences. I can't wait to watch it again and see how i feel.

I thought his Brooklyn entrance was better. This was good, but I kept getting distracted by the red head violinist. She was so into it, and trying a bit to hard to get herself over.

Same here. Snagged tickets at the last second, the crowd was so much fun. Amazing atmosphere. The show as a whole was excellent. Amazing night. Cannot wait for tomorrow either.

The fact Joe becomes the first 2-time NXT is a nice feather in his cap. If they do a trilogy with Nakamura...do they have Nakamura go over and he also becomes a 2- time champ? Joe would be a full time main roster guy after the trilogy? Being a 2-time champ is a cool accomplishment but that also means Joe has been with NXT for too long.

The idea of giving them a third match can allow for another group of guys work up to being main event/NXT title contenders. In terms of a gimmick and being over with the crowd and the guy has the built-in credibility from his TNA days...I'd say Roode would be the next contender.

Asuka-Mickie was a solid match. Mickie is a pro in the ring. Asuka had credibility already but being able to hang with a veteran and actually make Mickie look inferior in spots just shows how dominant Asuka is. The NXT women's division is going to be hurting after she gets called up. Ember Moon is really good but Asuka is a superstar.

The tag title match was fantastic...great pacing and just perfect timing with saves. The crowd ate that match up. Dash and Dawson are meh wrestlers but they're fabulous tag partners and great heels. They're a ready-made heel tag team to feud with a baby face team whenever they're ready for the main roster.

Overall that was a pretty great PPV but i thought it had a few hiccups.

Mickie was putting up her hands for half the match way way way way wayyyyyyyy too soon. The selling was also weird...like half the time they just kind of stood there instead of taking the hit and selling and just went to the next spot. I'm all for the "oh im mad now" setup but when you're doing it the whole match there is no point.

Also going for the handshake after the match and then getting mocked and just letting it go makes her seem like a ***** what was the point? Asuka could have just not shook her hand and left but nope, lets mock her right in the face and she won't do anything about it.

Roode's match was good, entrance was...GLORIOUS.

The Dust tag match felt absolutely pointless to me. No interest at all.

DIY vs Revival was also...GLORIOUS

The main event was...not bad? I just don't see the point of giving the belt back to joe unless they're calling up nakamura immediately.

DIY vs The Revival II was everything I wanted and more.

Revival is Tag team of the year 100% and have like 4 MOTY contenders that should be talked about.

I fear for them on the main roster, I hope their really liked by HHH so they'll be looked after on the main roster ala K.O and Balor. Hoping they get put on SD due to better writing and so we can see some more AA vs Revival.

DIY is also a great team a solid baby face tag team that can get the crowd going with some awesome spots and moves.

Balor wasn't even looked after it was all vince that wanted to push him immediately.

Revival and DIY is going to be for tag teams what Sasha and Bayley were/are for the women. We'll be talking about these matches forever, and the main roster tag teams are going to be pissed they can never have matches like that.

....and Vince won't be smart enough to recognize Asuka's talent and will have her job to the likes of Dana Brooke and Alicia Fox. I have zero confidence in Vince McMahon anymore. His time has come and past and he's shown he can't make superstars. And as much as I hate the guy, Triple H certainly can. NXT is his baby and it speaks in volumes that NXT is 10 times the show that RAW and Smack Down are. It's time for Vince to step aside and let Triple H run the show on all levels. He's a wrestling guy with a wrestling mind and you can bet that he'll bring his creative staff from NXT up to RAW and Smack Down and fix both shows.

No he won't.

HHH view both as different products to cater to different audience and likely thinks that there is more money in Vince's crappy cartoon wrestling.
