I'm sure you complained about Kevin Steen becoming Kevin Owens back in the day.

I didn't, but Owens is a lot more normal/better than Saints. And that was a different time anyway, Starks was on national TV not the indies, but I digress. I would get over the name change I'm just saying if we are gonna change the name, no matter who's idea it is, we need names better than Ricky Saints and Bron Breakker.

When WCW was around the only name I remember changing was The Giant to the Big Show and that was only because Vince wasn't going to allow another "The Giant" when Andre existed.


If they're gonna do it I'd rather they do it like this on arrival though than how they did a few years back when wrestlers who were established on NXT for years just showed up with new names one day. That was like an insult to the fans intelligence. Oh it's not WALTER and Marcel anymore it's GUNTHER (Remember he was gonna have a Nazi general name at first? lol) and Ludwig. That guy we called Raul Mendoza for the last 3 years? Not his name anymore. KayLee WHO?? That's Alba Fyre! Io? There was always a 'y' in her name whatever are you talking about? Wasn't even like they changed gimmicks either.
