It's simple. You keep your name if you sign over the rights to WWE. If you don't want to sign over your rights you change it.

  • Jade Cargill
  • Nick Aldis

Also, could be he wants to keep any references to AEW as far as possible.

The hype I’m seeing around Starks (not here) is hilarious. WWE has their work cut out for them to do anything meaningful with him. Horrible look (still wannabe Rock with cheap clothes), horrible promo, horrible name and still does that stupid pose.

As long as he doesn't wear a turtle neck he should be fine. And avoid the NXT parking lot.

Booker T is god awful. That's part of the reason I avoid NXT.

Guy is either blabbering or just going "OOOOOOAAAAYYAAAHHHHHHHHAHAHA YAAAAAAAWWWW"

Ahh Retribution! Nothing says creative genius like doing a mock ANTIFA angle during a time when people were actively tuning out of sports because they were sick of having current events polluting their entertainment escape.

Speaking of re-naming people... Can't believe "T-Bar" didn't get over!

I thought they were done with that for the most part since Vince left if you were somewhat known, especially after Tama Tonga, Tanga Loa, Cargill, Giulia, Vaquer, Fatu, Penta, Ethan Page, etc. all got to keep their names, I doubt they all signed over the rights.

They even didn't make Shawn Spears go back to being Tye Dillinger. The only other guy I think changed recently was Pillman Jr, and they acknowledged and made a storyline around that.

Regardless, Ricky Saints is almost as bad as Bron Breakker. He/WWE couldn't come up with a better last name?
