McD hasn't shown up in a single game against the Canucks this season. What is his issue performing against this club? He botched several pass receptions 3 that would have been breakaways. His passing was to the Nucks most of the night. At no point did McDavid really bring much of anything. How do you play a game 1 this lacksadaisical? EV, McD hasn't shown up in playoffs yet. WE only got the one PP.

He's not the game breaker we used to have. Something changed this year

There should be no sense of panic but let's be honest here. Everyone on the thread knows that when Skinner is bad--well he's bad-- and he was due after a couple of very good outings. He's just not the kind of guy that you can rely on every night. No shock there.

As for Nurse well again, not shocking to note that he is not really a top flight D-man. 15 shots on the opposition net doesn't help either.

The boys will be tougher next game and Skinner will rebound but they aren't playing L.A. anymore. The Canucks are deeper and more talented than the Kings.

Ceci wasn’t nearly as bad as Nurse.

Nurse played scared, slow and timid tonight. Not a good look at all. Lost count of the number of times he took like two seconds to process what to do. Burned on the Garland goal as well because he couldn’t read the play.

Worst Oiler was Skinner by a mile tonight. Nurse second. Ceci third star of the shit parade.

That’s what I said. He’s young and has no experience. Fire anything and everything at him. Instead we sleepwalk and shoot nothing.
