I think Drai going down shook the team and galvanized the Canucks. Once he comes out Friday and drops a 4 point masterclass, hobbling around or not, the canucks will have started digging their grave.

The boys got this in 6.

What was the game plan after the fourth goal?

Nurse/Ceci suck again.

This team won’t win the Cup.
Nope, not even close enough to being good enough, been saying it all year. Guys like Perry need to sit and never see the ice again.

5 in a row folks. The oilers got dummied in this game even before it was 4-1. Once the second period started they weren’t even close to the Canuck. Nucks be laughing in their dressing room at how this went, and the oilers have to be worried that Drai may not be back.

Whole team was dog shit even McDavid let's be honest.

No one worse than f***ing Skinner. No lateral movement, no tracking, no reflexes, no fighting to see around screens. Just f***ing stands there or drops on his knees and remains stationary.

Every time he plays the puck something bad happens. His d is waving at him to f***ing leave and he shoots it up the ice.

Just f***s the team for at least 3 games every playoff series and takes no accountability.

Said the Oilers looked slow early. Team blew a fortuitous lead with a rookie goaltender but the Canucks on the stat sheet was dominating thee Oilers and the scoresheet caught up to it. McDavid and top line was neutralized. Skinner was awful. Nurse was tentative and passive all night and got burned by it. Oil top guys crushed on the face-off dot kept them chasing all night. Incredible to let this get away.

Nurse legitimately might've been better in his rookie season. Played on the bottom pair, was physical, played the game within the confines of his abilities, chipped in an odd rush here and there.

The Covid season made him way too confident in his “abilities”
Of which there aren’t really any…

McDavid was off and the entire 3rd and 4th line sucked. Kane was bad. VD was bad. Nurse Ceci were awful and there’s the Skinner I was worried about. Cost us the game.
Ceci wasn’t nearly as bad as Nurse.

Nurse played scared, slow and timid tonight. Not a good look at all. Lost count of the number of times he took like two seconds to process what to do. Burned on the Garland goal as well because he couldn’t read the play.

Canuck hunting
What a confidence killing game, drai injured and McDavid still not looking like his old self. Skinner, nurse and Ceci are all looking like there old selves
McD hasn't shown up in a single game against the Canucks this season. What is his issue performing against this club? He botched several pass receptions 3 that would have been breakaways. His passing was to the Nucks most of the night. At no point did McDavid really bring much of anything. How do you play a game 1 this lacksadaisical? EV, McD hasn't shown up in playoffs yet. WE only got the one PP.

All the detractors here were correct. Skinner isn't a NHL goalie, we aren't a playoff team and we should give up and kill ourselves.

I give up on life. Canucks will easily win the cup.
Lol Canucks aren't winning shit. If the Oilers lose this series trade McDavid and Draisaitl so I can be done with this team.

Oilers haven’t dictated play of a game since game 3 on LA series.

Stauffer just asked “can the oilers beat this team”. It’s not just this board here knowing Vancouvernis better
