The cross check to the head/neck of Byfield while he was laying on the ice likely saved the goalie from suffering a significant injury. Am I right?

I don't think the Kings have the horses to play that game if Kane and Frederic are back in this series. Honestly they can do that if they want though McDavid and Draisaitl will play through it like they have every playoffs. McDavid took a much more vicious cross check to the face from Soucy last year (which also got a 1 game suspension).
