I think the Canucks are really going to take a look at DPetey, and Mancini as well before moving Soucy. Same goes for Blueger, I expect Raty will get a few looks before they make a decision on him. Both would have limited returns, but ae decent depth players.
The exact problem with acquiring these two players is that their cap hits, and terms left give little to no need to move from them. They do provide varying degrees of legitimate value (Blueger more than Soucy obviously) and so while the price should be reasonable, the premium price of "we don't have to make this deal" must be added, which makes a trade unlikely I would think.
Perhaps as they become pure rentals that changes, but for now I have officially for the first time become the annoying poster who would answer "more than would make sense for you to offer".
For what we would get back it's not worth it for sure.
Seeing how the new D has looked along with Demko two of his last three starts I hope Allvin is aggressive in finding a true playmaking first style of winger for EP40 which imo is our biggest need. Chytil may not be last year's JT miller but he's really added a new element that we sorely lacked .
Oh and I really hope they don't move on from Brock.
