DAY 1 RUMOUR MILL

• Most teams have already placed bids, some have even raised bids
• Sources say that day 1 bidding has been pretty reasonable, overall prices aren't too high or low on average, perhaps GM's are learning
• That being said, currently the leading bids for a majority of players are coming from 4 teams
• One team in particular is currently on pace to win over 15 players! Will we see a classic day 1 bust? Stay tuned!
• We're seeing some big price discrepancies in the mid and low range of talent, it'll be interesting to see how the market settles on non-star players as we go deeper into the draft
• One of the top players up for bid currently has 7 bids within $1M of the leading bid and currently the leading bid is tied for this player

• Another day of fairly reasonable bids for the upper tier of players, nothing too high or too low, will Mr tiktok be had for a reasonable deal??
• So far we have a bit less total money spent on day 2 than day 1
• Some very nice deals to be had on the middle of the pack/lower tier talent
• 1 team is winning 5 of the top 15 highest bid players, bust szn?!?

Day 3 Rumour Mill​

• More money being spent today than yesterday, is this group of players just better or are bidders more aggressive?
• One team was on pace to bust badly but got bailed out in the last couple hours
• Some interesting bids for the big fish today, I'd say the prices are pretty reasonable for them
• One team is on pace to win 11 players, but only 1 of the top 7 players, do we finally see a bust?
• shockingly and thankfully(for my sake) there's only 2 tie bids so far
• 1 of the higher end players has 10 bids all within 600K of each other at a very reasonable price as well
• On the other end of the spectrum one mid-lower end player has a winning bid that a whopping $3M over the next highest bid
• some teams that have bid everyday now have yet to spend much at all, how long will they stick with this strategy?

• Despite a nice top end list for the day, currently total dollars spent today are on pace to be the 2nd lowest so far, definitely some nice deals to be had
• No one is on pace to bust today, again indicating a decent day for value since we don't have a GM or 2 inflating prices by winning every other player
• 1 of the top players available today has his top 6 bids all within $1M of each other
• Another top player has his top 6 bids within 900K of each other
• 3 Players currently have tied bids, does this include either of the players mentioned above? We shall see.
• Some pretty quality players only have a few bids
• 1 of the better players today only has 5 bids as of now, and it's not due to lack of submitted bids, most teams have already submitted bids but just never bothered bidding for this players

• We're seeing about $20M less spent today total than yesterday, but then again yesterday was McDavid day​
• Some very reasonable prices on the upper end of today's player list, if you want to land a star player, today isn't a bad day to do so​
• The tier 2 and tier 3 players of the list are still holding steady prices compared to previous days, will this pattern hold or will prices eventually come down for these caliber of players?​
• 1 of the top players available today has his top 8 bids all within $1M of each other​
• Another 1 of the top players today has his top 8 bids all within 700K of each other​
• Hint: both players above saw their stock rise this year​
• If bolds hold, we'll see 4 teams hit 80M+ in salary cap and we'll still have 5 teams at 40M or less salary cap spent so far​
• Keep in mind that day 11 is for depth so after today we only have 4 days left of quality players, will this be our first auction where we see issues for teams who waited to spend the majority of their cap?​

Day 7 Rumours​

• We currently have 2 teams on pace to bust, one is on pace to bust by a large amount, this team is currently "winning" 4 out of the top 6 players
• Keep in mind that players don't die in this game unless bought out so we'll see some big name players go to the 2nd highest bidder instead
• We currently have 0 tied bids, for my own sake, let's try to keep it that way
• 1 of the top players has a bid that's almost $3M higher than the next highest bid, but will this bid be voided due to busting? Stay tuned.
• 1 pretty solid mid-range player has only received 5 bids so far despite about 20 teams already submitting bids, might be a victim of the team he plays on IRL
• 1 player has received a bid that's more than double the next highest bid(!!!), it's not a scrub depth player, but I won't say if this is a star player or more of a mid range player
• 1 highly sought after player has his top 6 bids all within 500K of each other, this a well liked player who should do well in voting. This a higher end player

PSA​

• We're getting to the part of the draft where more and more teams will bust or go over the 20 man roster limit, so I urge you to read the rules before crying about them later while I laugh at you
• I'd also urge you to keep track of your cap because if you don't know what your max bid is then you're going to have some bids voided by going over by even 0.1M, again I'm just gonna laugh at you instead of bending rules, if you rage quit it'll be even funnier because it would've taken 5 minutes to read the rules
