Parsinnen becomes a 60-70 pt guy(if playing with good supporting cast) for the avs easy… kind of like a poor mans Anton Lundell
Lundell’s career high is 44 points and suddenly 60 points is a poor version of it?

Much more likely Pärssinen centers Kiviranta and Innala on a 4th line.I wonder if they could form a Finnish line in colorado. Rantanen pärssinen lehkonen maybe. Or if they can develope Pärssinen to be maybe a poor man's Rantanen?

usually as a rookie GM a guy would trade for young guys instead of trading all awayGM Barry is like a 13 year old excited to play GM mode in EA sports NHL for the first time. Lol He loves making trades.
Technically we never did fire him. Poile just let his contract run out and didn't offer him a new one. Not real sure what you call that actually.Soon we'll learn that Trotz got the Preds tattoo on his ass covered up and all of this is part of an elaborate plan to get back at the franchise for firing him.
While some of these guys and assets are good, I don’t see a blue chipper in there.I mean we still have Molendyk, L'Hereux, Kemell, Wood, Svechkov, Surin, Schaefer, Edstrom, from the first round and three 1sts + two 2nds this year.
We refuse to fail hard enough to get a blue chipper at the top of the draft and arent good enough at drafting to get one later. While some of these guys and assets are good, I don’t see a blue chipper in there.
Because this is exactly how Trotz did players when he was a coach. I mean us old Nashville fans are ticked at what is going on, but when you look back at some of the decisions he made as a coach can you really be that surprised? Trotz loved him some Vets and he always gave them a long leash compared to his younger talent. The only way the young guys ever saw the light of day was that he either didn't have a choice or that they were just so much better than his other option he couldn't justify it. TBH I'm surprised Evangelista and ZLH have managed to stay on the roster. You would think a team struggling as much as the Preds this year would want to at least showcase the guys deemed “expendable” a bit before shipping them off. There would really have been nothing to lose and maybe you could have built some true value back in there.
At the end of the day, the problem isn’t that the likes of Parssinen, Tomasino and Fabbro had little value…their value at the times of the trades is commensurate with their usage and production in Nashville. The question is why is a bad team with the likes of McCarron, Jankowski, Schenn and Lauzon as fixtures - allowing their younger NHL players whither to the point of such little value? I guess if you ask Trotz and Brunette, it’s that they spent a fortune on vets this off-season and wanted old school prototypical depth guys to fill out the rest of the line-up…but it wasn’t working, so why not change things up?
I’ll say it again - the Nashville prospect system is absolutely still flush with another wave of talent…probably a better wave. Tons of first rounders who have progressed nicely on the way or already getting some games (plus three more 1sts in the 2025 draft). They do a great job developing talent in Milwaukee. The concern would be what happens when these guys are ready to be NHL regulars. How does Brunette and the NHL staff put them into positions to be successful? Or are we just going to keep repeating this cycle? Who’s next to get their value tanked? Novak? Evangelista? Looks like that’s kind of already happening…
Hope so. Dude needs to be put to pasture. IDK why they won't try something - ANYTHING - elseDoes this mean I don't have to watch Wagner anymore? because that is worth the pick alone.

So much for the so called top tier prospect pool
The quicker they get rid of the Gm the better, but with the way Nashville deals he’ll have a long long leash
