I can't get over how much KC looks like Guy Lafleur taking the puck down the ice. He has moves like him close in too. Guy beats him easily in the playmaking though.
I love the fact that we have two young wingers in Ehlers and KC that are only going to get better. Let's hope Chevy finds a way to make sure they both stay on the team for years to come.

I'll give kudos to Myers. I have been one of his biggest detractors but he has, overall, played well since just before the Buff injury...
I have been one of Maurice's biggest supporters but if you are facing Bergeron's line, split up Wheeler and Scheif to m ake it harder on them to line match at home.
I know we won and I don't want to sound negatory but let's see what we have without them playing together for a game or three?
Good game by Helle...not a bad game for Chiarot's first game back...Are there still any Buff haters still out there?
If we get Buff and Ehlers back and Laine finds his game, watch out.
By the way, I think it was a smart move by Maurice to start Brossoit last game when he didn't know what to expect from the team coming off of the days off.

You score when you get to the danger areas and that is what happened in the third.

If results are all that matters then Roslovic has botched his top 6 opportunity. Bring in Petan next game and give him a shot there. That line has been awful for a while now, what is the harm. Maybe Laine needs a pure playmaker on his line.

Great comeback win! Helle was perfect in the shootout.

I think I agree with Maurice benching Laine. It's hard to be 100% supportive without knowing how they are coaching/teaching/developing this kid overall. But the way he has been playing, I have to assume that they have been talking to him about his weaknesses and lack of effort. And, that there will be consequences if it continues, which it did tonight.

We are at a key inflection point with this kid. He is the most important draft and develop asset in Jets 2.0 history. For those that say Maurice is a great coach for developing players and so is this org, I think how they do with Laine will say alot about if that is true or not.

Helly - it was his game... only reason we had a chance.

Thought the whole 1st line played well, though Wheeler has a bit of fumbleitis. They battled hard against one of the truley elite lines in hockey and came up on top. You have to give them their due. Connor isn't scoring without 2 pretty feeds.

I guess you can sort of play it differently in the shootout, knowing that the guy can't bang away at it. You just have to get it in front of the first shot and that's it.

Helle outgoalied Halak, they have managed to squeak out win and points out of many games where the process was awful. The process shows no signs of improving however as this looked like more of the same.

Playing like a wildcard team that has found its way to the top somehow.

Top line was better than last game and the 3rd line played well. Those are the only positives for me.

Feels like 2 very empty points, but I guess 2 points nonetheless.
