who cares.....I was pointing out that The Habs don't need a winger they need a 2c. The Habs spending a ton on a winger doesn't make sense at all, even if it is one as good as Marner.

No team with cup aspirations should even take a look at this guy. He eats up so much cap space it’s hard to offset his post season disappearing act.
Of course a team desperate for a big name and help on offense could do a lot worse so he should get an attractive offer. Plus he’ll cost no other assets.

Marner is tied for 6th in points these playoffs. He can't be the guy in the playoffs, but the issue with the Leafs has always been that the mix just doesn't ****ing work. They should have frankly shaken it up the core before the issue was forced on them (and when they could have gotten a haul or a better fit in a trade), but the way the series has gone they probably have to win to even consider trying to going back to the same old core.

Any opinion on the spinorama giveaway for goal 3(?). Because stuff like that matters to teams.
