Just a thought about our transition game on the powerplay.

If you are going to use the back pass strategy, what about having 2 men back instead of 1 ?

It pisses me off to see a back pass to a player who ends up being the only one entering the opponent's zone with speed. It leaves the player with only 1 option; navigating through the blue line blockade with the puck for a long time enough to have pass options.

If you pass the puck back to one of 2 players, they both can enter the opponent's zone with speed, giving the puck handler more options (pass to the other player with speed or dumping the puck).

Am I crazy ? (don't answer that )
