GDT: Nothing to See Here - Just Another Meaningless March Flames Hockey Game (Vs Canucks @ 7:00 MT)

  • HFBoards is doing server maintenance Thursday March 13th at 9 AM GMT 5 AM EDT. Downtime is to be expected during the process. Server changes were implemented recently to cope with the traffic surge last week. This seems to be affecting the user login, so please anyone experiencing this, log out and clear the browser cache. I’m loving the physicality in this one, the boys can crash bodies with the best of them. I cant wait til Klapper is in the lineup on a regular basis

Crap I didn't know he was at the top, wow. But he did play a long time too - 5th longest D in history. Over 200 more games than Coffee and you don't have him in the conversation (higher ppg than Ray).

Langway was highly regarded defensively, not an offense guy. And I don't have him in the top 3 or 4 conversation only that he is in the outside looking in group of D.

Because Coffey wouldn't know defense if he was shot by someone he was mugging.

Bourque was close to a point per game over 1600+ games and was also excellent defensively.
 
We are really giving the Canucks every opportunity here huh

You got the W for Borque being the most likely 2nd to Orr - he and maybe Lidstrom since.

But I do think if Makar and Hughes stay healthy either or both "could" surpass Ray in status (which would obviously be a very difficult feat).

And I can't decide between Cale and Quinn yet.
