GDT: Nothing to See Here - Just Another Meaningless March Flames Hockey Game (Vs Canucks @ 7:00 MT)

  • Xenforo Cloud is doing server maintenance Thurdsay 13th at 9 AM GMT. Downtime is to be expected during the process. Server changes were implemented recently to cope with the traffic surge last week. This seems to be affecting the user login, so please anyone experiencing this, log out and clear the browser cache. We expect to have this issue solved once the maintenance is complete.

See, I can't even consider someone like Coffey or Hughes in the top 5 because their defensive game just doesn't (didn't) exist. Dennis Potvin, Larry Robinson, even Chris Pronger are far better IMO.

On the flip side, Borque wasn't super offensively gifted nor super skilled in any area. Just a solid big ass stay at home guy. I could see Coffee slipping out of the top 5 or 6 but his points are high and was one of the best skaters of all time. Robinson is the only other name I'd consider in the top 5 or so. Potvin and Langway in the conversation. Pronger is a no for me - good but over rated in my mind.

Hughes is sooo skilled all-around, like I say, hard to decide between him and Makar.

Bourque is the all-time leader in goals and points by a defenseman.... the f*** are you talking about?

Then you mention Langway who doesn't even have half a point per game over his career despite playing through the 80s?
