I absolutely loved watching Ilya Kovalchuk for the 1 month we had him.

That Bergevin team was so bad that Kovalchuk was arguably our best player.
Pacioretty-DD-Cole was one of our best lines in the last 20 years

Both of them good pickups. Moore was good during Halakian run to conference finals. Jeff Halpern and Mike Weaver I liked also
Agreed on Dominic Moore - he was strong in his role in that magic run, alright.

Does Radulove count as a brief stint? If it does, then it's him. If not, then that washed-up, past-it Russian guy who still had the magic shot and hands......Ilya something or other ;-)

Dick Duff. One of Sam Pollack's lesser heralded pick ups in the 64/65 season, Duff played just over 5 seasons with Montreal and helped Montreal win 4 Stanley Cups in the late 1960s. A skillful, undersized forward, Duff often played with Beliveau and provided the Canadiens with that all important secondary scoring. One of my favorite players of all time, I still remember Duff scoring one of the greatest 2 on 0 goals (with Lemaire) in NHL playoff history against a maskless and helpless Glen Hall.

How did you forget the 30 games played by the immortal Logan Shaw! Another homerun by Bozovin

Perry was by far the best short term pickup. Although he was on his last legs, he brought the one thing this org. hasn't had in 30 years up front - balls and net front presence.

Wisniewski was awesome for us, wanted to re-sign him.

Also agree with Robert Lang, made an awesome contribution during his short stay here.

Two goals come to mind for both players

Clutch goal to start the comeback and then OT winning goal

Lang had a fatty this night and scored a beauty goal. Our season collapsed after he got hurt.
