Every time someone posts this, I read it incorrectly at first.

I was cool with Acciari until I realized they weren't adding anyone else. My anger began when it sunk in he was going to be our token guy down there to lead the way (for the type of play we've always needed).

So my issue isn't Acciari himself, I'm just saying I'm not surprised and won't be surprised if the DTD's pile up or he has to hold back in games in the future to stay healthy i.e downgrade his play a bit.

My anger is towards the continuous odd way of building this team.
Um we actually got Lafferty, don't know what you're talking about. Dynamic duo additions.

We get to take bets if his xGF will ever be higher than Kerfoot's playoff faceoff percentage. Fun times ahead

Pretty good period after the first minute, but this is the worry I have with this team. All this offensive zone time with nothing to show for it, but one catastrophic play and it's in their own net. The recipe for them losing is so clear

Exactly you aren’t grading his play, you’re grading your preconceived concept of what we needed. And we added O’Reilly on that trade as well, which moves more depth to the bottom six. We’re all in this year, why the eff is anyone worried about a 31 year old, like that matters for this run? Seems like being grumpy for it’s own sake, instead of just watching the guy and appreciating how effective he’s actually been. Lafferty you can question, he’s been uneven and could do more consistently, Acciari, what an add, great trade with O’Neill. And guess what, you won’t find anyone outside of nine random dudes online that agree with you, every pro in the game thinks he’s been great. Of all the guys to complain about so far….

I'll use Kerf's 19/20 playoff % to give him a fighting chance

I actually find Tavares to be one of our more consistent players, at least effort wise. His effectiveness varies as he can struggle against speedy opponents but he gives an honest effort basically every game.
I should have worded it a bit different but I'll expand. There is zero question on his consistency in terms of effort. However, 5 on 5 I feel he does leave a lot to be desired sometimes, especially when I feel Matthews often gets the hardest matchups against. Maybe its the 11mil salary stuck in my head a bit as well, but I would expect he should be better 5 on 5 more often in terms of driving his line. There's games he looks like the perfect 2nd line centre behind Matthews, but just as many games he just looks slow, poor defensively and not 'winning' his shifts against the opposition. On the PP dude is a beast though.

Yeah he should be, what? Sitting on 90-95 points?
I expanded above on what I meant. He's fine if you want to just concentrate on points.

Lack of offensive talent beyond our big 4 causes this problem. We get momentum but don’t create a lot of danger. ROR will help that but it’s still concerning

Then you get out goalied as well leads to results like this so far

These are serious, tough women in the studio. Jennifer Botterill etc.

Some men would totally get rolled over by by these G's.

Reliving the incompetent reffing is terrible.

That series was trash, went from tightly called games to letting everything go to 5 on 3s and interference calls that get let go every game.

Who is this nerd speaking?

Leafs have been playing a lot more dialed after that shitty performance against NYI, which is a good sign.

I don’t know man 21, 18, 15, 13, 11 goals scored for our next 5 to 9 players. It appears to be equal to everyone else and better than the bottom feeders. Mind you I didn’t check all teams, but it doesn’t look bad really.
