Maybe another upset?

Well.
It was an even first period. We make two stupid mistakes in the 2nd period with our shifts that gives them two goals.
3rd the finns score a very nice PP goal, after that we have to risk and they score their fifth.

We have to make better shifts in the coming games. The referee should also have given us two PPs in the 1.period.
We have no problem with their speed, and only take one penalty in the whole game which is better than excpected.

But they punish our shift mistakes hard, that costs us the game.

A routine-win. These games against the weaker teams can be difficult as the general public expects a 10-0 win when as the important thing is to get the three points and avoid injuries.

How did Puustinen and Ojamäki look?
Ojamäki looked okay - didn't dazzle, but was a decent enough complementary piece as a power forward supporting Lundell and Ruotsalainen.

Puustinen didn't do himself a single favor. The nicest thing I can say about him is that he wasn't a liability - but other than that, he was completely invisible.

An invisible Puustinen is useless.

I'm not a Finn but understand the language - why do you use that word "uusi" in there?
The lyrics to the song go like that, it’s from when they won their original world championsip in 1995.

This is a particularly crappy Team Finland so nobody expects 10-0 unless it's Botswana or Uruguay.

Solid win but nothing "routine" about it. Norway was keeping up.

It was a clash between Northern Estonia vs Western Estonia which was held anno 1995 south of Uppsala/Sigtuna * - and Northern Estonia finally won it on "enemy's soil"

You're confused, you must mean North Denmark vs West Novgorod?

It's understandable, this was even before the Kalmar Union that later expanded into the European Union (with Norway sulking and opting out).

I think the rebound conrtrol from our goalie Arntzen was way too bad in this game.
