U18: Norway 2025

I think Norway also have an interesting goalkeeper this time

Felix Timraz Westin. Big and tall goalkeeper. They like big goalies in North America.

Offensive top 6 forwards should be decent aswell.

Casper Kjølmoen for Luleå have also played well.

Tinus Luc Koblar for Leksand J20. Has been mentioned in some draft rankings.

Romeo Edvardsen Sørensen is also doing well in Swedish junior league

A bit thin on bakcs though.

No Tollefsen is foolish. Even if he would only be 7th.

Unfortunately Brongel chooses to play for Sweden. He would be 1st D on this team but is 7th on our team. Weird choice by him.
Andreas Syversen Pettersen played for the u20 national team in u20 WC div 1A, Marius Määtänen also. We are a bit thin on backs so Brøngel Larsson would have gotten a big role and lots of icetime for this norwegian u18 team. This team miss a player like that.

Tollefsen will get his chanche next year. He is just 15 years old and plays for the u16 team.

William Backlund is also 15 years old, he is also interesting. Swedish/norwegian background.

It is apparently more than just goods that is exchanged across the norwegian/swedish border, genes, good hockey genes is also frequently exchanged with all this half norwegian/swedish players coming up.:)

No Isak Vanderhill? He had over ppg in Norway u20 for frisk asker. Shocked guys like mats nagell who had significantly points get chosen over him. Some vålerenga bias???
Hard to say.
The guys, most of them that will make up the offensive top9 players plays in the Swedish league.

The coaches likely wanted players with other abilities as bottom3 forwards, than just looking at pure point production. Checking, physical play, penalty killing etc.

Swedish hockey federation are shameless af for stealing norwegian talents Norway could use. I havent seen Holtet play But i doubt he will play top 6 in the swedish NT. There are many swedish borns in the youth leauges that could be tried but nah, ignore them and milk other Countries talents..

Keep in mind that Brongel himself decided to play for Sweden. He was not forced. Blame should be put on him too.

As long as Sweden is a attractive hockey nation for norwegians to develop in, it will continue. Like i said yesterday, im sure we will lose Wilson Boumedienne to USA so it goes around
