Wow Boston Washington going to overtime AGAIN, all 3 games go to OT.

If the first 3 Leafs Habs games all go to OT I think I may have a cardiac arrest. Soooo tight out there.

Is it OK to be confident yet scared sh!tless?

Should be interesting to see how Nash slides in after coming off an injury with no game action in awhile.

Not as big of a fan of the fourth line because of the lack of foot speed. But if they match up against the Staal line it’s not as big of an issue.

My guess is Keefe is ensuring his bottom two lines are defensively responsible since Montreal doesn’t have a lot of scoring depth, and allow the top two lines to generate most of the offense.

This is so true about Sandman - from tsn

The one thing I really appreciate about Rasmus — right from the time I had him as an 18-year-old with the Marlies — is that he is a competitor," said Keefe. "He doesn't shy away from physicality. He doesn't shy away from difficult situations and tough moments on the ice. I have no doubt he is going to be just fine adjusting to playoff hockey in the NHL."

Unbelievable hockey and series. I’m enjoying the hell out of two tough as nails teams banging the hell out of each other

He spent so much of the season mixing things up low in the lineup that Nash has to have a fairly short leash given the length of service. Not only on that line, but the second and first left flanks as well.

As a fan, most interesting there will be how well Nash can read the rush game on transition as 65 and 15 can motor.

97, 19, and 24 will be fun to watch now. They personify the persuit, dont they? More than most, there should be no question about their compete and play, with age and ability accounted for. They wont be 34 and 16 but to think Joe Thornton and Jason Spezza cant manage to caboose these forward lines is off.

Wouldnt be suprised to see 12 inserted if Nash dont work for game 2.

Would rather have Simmonds on the 3rd line and Kerfoot on 4. Its clear Sim was saving his energy for round one.

Obviously a numbers game, but unfortunate Dermott is the odd man out. He's been extremely effective this year, and a dman that thrives against a rush offense like MTLs.

The Oilers Jets game I hope reminds the team they need to not take anything for granted.

The Jets looked like a corpse to end the season, and that game is tied in the third.

I think the Nash line is the defensive zone 3rd line and the Spezza line will be the O-Zone 3rd line.

Both lines will get roughly 10-12 mins TOI leaving 18-20 for the top 2 lines. Special teams skews the TOI a bit.

Is the series schedule posted in here somewhere?
I checked TSN but it doesn’t look right.

This is where Jumbo, Simmonds, Spez, Foligno, Nash make their money, its their job to keep our young stars focused and calm. When Montreal takes a lead. its the vets job to make sure the young players don't panic and lose their minds. We will know early in this series if Dubas moves to make this team more experienced, was the missing ingredient.

Time to go to work, forget the hype, forget the media, forget the fans, just get it done.

Three things are true.

1) Craig Button picked the Habs to win the North
2) Craig Button picked the Leafs to walk over the Habs in the playoffs.
3) Craig Button is like the Charles Barkley of prognosticators. If either one picks you its the kiss of death.

WE ARE SCREWEDDDDDDD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

or he ran out of gas in January ;)

With the exception of Spezza the old guys have been as effective as wax statues. They look old, they move old, they react old. If we can get one elite game out of each of them in the playoffs, just one elite game.
