I know I’m biased but that feels rather heavySix games to Arnsby as previously reported
From what I have gathered it’s 4 for the hit plus 2 for History. I think people weigh a lot on regular season games vs playoff games.. Majority of the time the OHL calls games similar whether playoffs or regular season. I think 4 woulda been appropriate but they went a little heavy based on the outcome and the previous hit in the series. (Which he received a knock it off for)I know I’m biased but that feels rather heavy
Hasn’t arnsby been suspended a few times before? Has always been one of those players that plays right on the line and crosses it sometimes. That probably has something to do with it.I know I’m biased but that feels rather heavy
That’s what I thought. I originally said 4 or 5 but didn’t factor in history which is a big thing of course for repeat offenders. From what I have gathered it’s 4 for the hit plus 2 for History. Oh absolutely. Schmidt will be one of the guys for sure. Last game he was gonna pound a few players when north bay was up big then settled down once kingston made it closer. You can bet if tomorrow’s game gets out of reach that it will be a shit show tomorrow night.
The kids stepped up and played well.Hope McIvor learned something from Kingston's second goal.
AgreedWe've been watching #11 now for 4 years. Crashing around like a wrecking ball. Why send a kid to the hospital in a 4-0 game? 2- 5 minute majors and game misconducts in 3 games. Captain and 2nd line centre now sitting for 6 games. Way to help your team. He's a tough kid and stood up many times for his teammates but he lives for the big hit. Every team has a player like that and we hate them, some cry about it and call for suspensions. He's got no one to blame but himself!!
Same player unprepared for contact. Some developing is lacking in this development league.Hasn’t arnsby been suspended a few times before? Has always been one of those players that plays right on the line and crosses it sometimes. That probably has something to do with it.
Also 2 5 min majors on the same player in 4 games- this time with hemstrom leaving on a stretcher.
Arnsby isn’t no saint lol.

I honestly prefer Oulahen's demeanor. It comes off as professional and sincere. I don't want to watch a coach throw a fit to make their point. Oulahen is a former player and a veteran of this league as not only a player but as a long time assistant and of course head coach. I'd would suggest a referee is more likely to listen and work with a calm structured coach instead of the alternative.Question guys, is it just me but why does coach Oulahen look like a deer in headlights every time the referee’s skate to the bench. Zero emotion, and I hate to say this but l miss the Stan days when he would rip him a new one or the one we remember well is when he told Mike Baird to go to the dressing room after a stupid play and the entire rink heard it.
Ok, better now, back to reality. lol
That's right blame the kid on the stretcher not the repeat offenderSame player unprepared for contact. Some developing is lacking in this development league.
Team says day to day but is that true?Any updates on Romani and Dom?
You are right. Legendary Petes coach Dick Todd was very laid back on the bench. He did not do a lot of screaming and yelling at the officials or his players. He let his feelings known when needed but did so in a respectful manner. Dick was one the most successful coaches, if not the most successful in the OHL in the mid 1980s until the early 1990s when he left to be an assistant coach in the NHL.I honestly prefer Oulahen's demeanor. Divencentiis listed on today's roster sheet as sent out by the team. Larocque not listed.Any updates on Romani and Dom?
And risk injury to other players? Why not end it early and rest everyone. Next round won't start till everyone else is done regardless. From a purely strategic standpoint, it might be beneficial for them to stretch this series out down two top Cs.
Thanks for thatAnd risk injury to other players? Why not end it early and rest everyone. Next round won't start till everyone else is done regardless.
Edit: except for Arnsby who we know is gone for 6. My point still stands.
A risk certainly. But this team is missing a significant part of its depth down two centers heading into the next round. And risk injury to other players? Why not end it early and rest everyone. Next round won't start till everyone else is done regardless.
