The skill and offensive awareness was very evident, he was a points leader waiting to happen …but at 19-20 when he was stronger I thought.

I agree with dirty. He has played on a stack team since his rookie year and has only improved year after year. He reminds me of Mike Amadio when he was a battalion. That line has unbelievable chemistry.

It was bad, almost like refs are mandated to keep the trailing team in the game. Two of the three consecutive face-offs in the battalion zone in the final minute were incorrect calls.

One of the worst cross checking misses was when Therrien nailed Mayich from behind right in front of the ref in the third. Mere seconds later he got his elbow up on a guy and again nothing. Instead they call the lame, late hooking calls on Cooke and OVS.

Games vs Cameron’s teams often turn into cross checking and slashing matches.
Therrien can most certainly be a punk; a more talented version of Stonehouse at the same age imo without the disgraceful turtling.

Scott was standing over both players, whistle is his mouth never blew it, play died up ice and Ride turned around a sent one the 67’s flying and we came out with the extra 2. GM Adam Dennis could be seen furious in the corner pointing and yelling at ref Scott. Neither seemed interested in conversing with players or coaches and just has some real aroggant. ruins th entire flow of the game. Some accountability from the league would be nice. You got a bunch of teenagers running hot, just leads to dangerous situations.

Vilmanis is a great fit for that line, and the line ideal for Vilmanis to play out his stay in the OHL. The Battalion needs were pretty obvious, but I think Dennis still deserves credit for executing the deadline perfectly.

Those non calls lead to these types of hits. JT being riding the thin line of dirty and clean for awhile now. I appreciate Arnsby’s clean physical game nothing I can remember off the top of my head.

3 goats today. Therrien (plenty of time to not drive someone into the boards). 1st period Dom ( couple of 45 foot wrister shouldn't beat you. Strong 2nd & 3rd tho). Anything with stripes and an armband on...again...and again. Obvious non calls is becoming the norm.

Boneheaded move by Therrien, aside from the subsequent 3 power play goals they played great. Move on and get back at it tomorrow. Coach needs to lose his mind at least once when we’re continuously boned with the missed calls.

Although a small detail why would Oulahen send Romani to serve the 5:00 major? Imagine during that PP Saginaw had taken a penalty and where is the league’s top goal scorer for the 4 on 4? Yep, parked on his arse in the penalty box. Smarten up and send Iggy.

#15 has been a skilled player since he was 12 years old, at one point probably regarded as the top talent in the GTA.
Puberty arrived and some stronger kids physically pushed him out off that top podium but you can't deny he's always had the game sense and elite skill.
Add in his 3rd year and chemistry with other smart unselfish players, lots of opportunity and you see the results.
I feel he will be drafted
