Probably wakely, Romani, and vansteensel if they don’t think they’re going for it. If they’re cleaning house Mathurin should be a good OA d man too.

Kennedy looked real good against the fronts
North Bay is the same position as the Petes were last season. They only have one 2nd, one 3rd and no 4ths over the next three drafts so they have to trade some of their best players such as Romani, Wakely, Van Steensel and Mathurin to rebuild their draft pick cupboard and add a couple of good young players.

It’s quite a bit different for the Battalion than it was for the Petes as NB has 9 signed ‘06, plus an ‘06 import drafted this summer.

Thoughts on who is on the move from NB

Wakely should return half of the missing 2-4 picks at some point.
They are probably most eager to move Mathurin, LeBlanc and LeBlanc, and McDowell if they can. If unable to do that, NB will have 9-10 signed D; and may have to trade an ‘06 and/or an ‘07 D.

Does Forgione have a spot on this year's team? Small sample size but no offense to show.

We in Owen Sound are very excited to get started with Coach Wray.

It'll be a rebuild , he's got some fresh ideas, hopefully some of the NB success will rub off in OS .

He was VERY impressive in his press conference/town hall.

Looking forward to our annual exxy trip to NB .
Always enjoy it, and the great fans there .

From the alumni files: Cam Dineen scored in OT and added an assist in EDM's win over WPG. Although there probably isn't room on the big club, living in SoCal making $100,000 or so per year is not necessarily a bad thing.

In more important news, Anaheim Ducks have assigned Mike McIvor and Ethan Procyszyn back to the Battalion.
