Going with Pronger here. Lidstrom had a good year in 07 but Pronger just had so many other dimensions to his game. I honestly wonder how far he's gonna go in this tournament, I'd say this is one of the strongest Norrises in the tournament tbh

This is a good one - two of the best seasons in the tournament. I'm hoping someone can do a deeper dive than "Pronger won the Hart and Lidstrom didn't". (That statement is true, of course, but the top two forwards missed 20+ games each in 2000. That's not to blame Pronger, as it's not his fault that Jagr and Sakic missed time, but I have a tough time imagining him winning the Hart against Crosby, or maybe even Lecavalier).

I guess the first question to ask is was Lidstrom really any better in 06-07 than in 99-00 when he lost pretty convincingly to Pronger?

…you do realize who finished 2nd behind Pronger in Norris voting in 2000 right?

....you do realize that Lidström had 6 more goals, 5 more assists, and throughout his career was WAY better defensively than Pronger, who got the award for being big and throwing crosschecks while scoring some points?
