Another close matchup, gotta give this one to MacInnis though. Leetch the more natural talent but this year of his while the numbers are real good was when the Rangers were starting to freefall, just trying to outscore their problems with their talent.

To Leetch's credit if your team isn't that good you overplay your best player which was firmly him by this time, but I do want to give some love to MacInnis who added so much to his game throughout his career, and became Lidstromesque without the skating ability by his twilight years, and it was the dead puck era so lack of footspeed was far less of an issue as it would be before or after.
